BreathWave Privacy Policy

BreathWave is a general wellness app for guided breathing, mood-based reset routines, and binaural frequency sessions. This Privacy Policy explains how BreathWave handles information.
1. Information We Collect
BreathWave does not currently require a user account and does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.
2. Local App Data
BreathWave may store the following information locally on your device or browser:
- Saved favorite breathing techniques
- Session progress and completion history
- Streaks and usage statistics
- App settings such as sound and vibration preferences
This data is used only to provide app functionality and improve your personal app experience. It is stored locally and is not currently sent to a BreathWave server.
3. Health and Wellness Information
BreathWave is not a medical app and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or emergency assistance. Any progress or session history stored by the app is intended only for personal wellness tracking and should not be considered medical or clinical data.
4. Data Sharing
BreathWave does not currently sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. BreathWave does not currently use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
5. Internet and Hosting
If you use the web/PWA version of BreathWave, the website is hosted through a third-party hosting provider. Standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and access logs, may be processed by the hosting provider as part of normal website delivery and security operations.
6. Children
BreathWave is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact the developer so appropriate action can be taken.
7. Data Controls
BreathWave includes in-app controls to clear progress history, clear saved favorites, and reset onboarding. You may also remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app or clearing browser/app storage.
8. Security
BreathWave is designed to minimize data collection. Because data is currently stored locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping your device secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if BreathWave adds new features, accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, purchases, or third-party services. Updates will be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date above.

BreathWave is for general wellness purposes only. Stop using the app if you experience dizziness, discomfort, shortness of breath, panic, distress, or unusual symptoms. Do not use breathing exercises or sound sessions while driving, operating machinery, underwater, or in unsafe situations.
